How to survive 2012?

December 2012 is fast coming and for many believers, surviving 2012 has become the main topic of discussion. Eminent scholars all over the world are predicting a cataclysmic event, whatever that might be. Let’s take a closer look at how to survive 2012 and specifically at how you can best prepare yourself for the inevitable. 2012 – The World’s Biggest Challenge Forget about the threat of global warming. Forget even about the tragedy of the Boxing Day tsunami and Hurricane Katrina.
The end of the world has always been a popular topic, with its demise consisting of zombies, robots or a gigantic asteroid. So if 2012 doesn’t get you, maybe zombies or Terminators will.
12/21/2012- The Mayans have been credited for their ability to fully develop a written language, epigraphy, and a calendar. It is this calendar that is causing many people to become concerned about the future of Earth.

The Mayans ability to determine the length of the solar year to a high degree of accuracy in comparison to the Europeans is one of the many reasons they are a popularly studied culture. The Mayans calendar is said to end on December 21 2012, and it is this reason that many people believe the world is going to end.
Their reasoning is ‘If a culture was so mathematically advanced in that they could make accurate solar predictions thousands of years in advance, then if they predict the end of the world, we should believe them’. But there is no such evidence of the Mayans making the prediction that the world will be ‘destroyed’. Many argue that it may be the end of an era, signifying a new way of life.
Nevertheless, here are some ways to prepare just in case an Earthquake or a shower of basketball sized meteors comes your way on the day of 12/21/2012:
- Apparently if you live anywhere near a body of water, according to Roland Emmerich’s interpretation, your city is going to flood. If you live close to a large body of water, it is suggested that you and your family prepare your home, if you do not feel the need to leave to higher ground. Non-perishable foods, water, water filter system, blankets, coats, first aid kit and a raft are all suggested items to keep.

1There are no good places like Brazil and South Africa if the world will end and everyone perishes.
But do not worry. Do not be scared. I assure you that the world will not end on 2012 December 21 but it will end one day. Nostradamus’ prediction of when the earth will end is far into the future, past about 3700. He still has many prophecies that are not fulfilled yet. Remember that if there is a beginning, there is an end.
The Mayan’s Mesoamerican Long Count calendar forms the basis for a New Age belief, first forecast by Jose Arguelles, that a cataclysm will take place on or about 2012 December 21 (Wikipedia). It will be the end of a Mayan calendar cycle to start a new cycle.
In the book of Revelation, it tells us about a period of a thousand years of peace. Has this occurred already since the time of Jesus? Not yet. That will still come. Those that give predictions of the world’s end, such as 2012 and numerous times during the past, are pseudo-preachers. Have they talked to God directly? If so, give proofs.
But there is something that is certain—and that is our physical death. This is what we should prepare for. It may come when least expected. We do not know the day and the hour. It will come like a thief in the night. So we just have to be prepared all the time. Search for the true God and when we find Him, follow His commandments and remain in Him until our last dying breath.
This is all that we have to do. It is faith in the true God that we can take with us when we depart from this world. If we denied Him, He will deny us also before the Father in Heaven and send us to Hell. This is very scary – to live in Hell forever. If we knew Him and loved Him and followed His commandments, then He may reward us to live with Him eternally in His kingdom in Heaven. This is the survival kit that we should have.
What is also certain to happen very soon (in about 2012 or earlier) is World War III and this is a nuclear war. This calamitous war will start from the Philippines, at Spratly Islands in particular. The Spratly Islands lie on the South China Sea mostly near the coast of the Philippines. The Holy Spirit told us that the troubles in the Philippines is like the wick of a lamp. Once the wick is lit, it will be on and aglow. He told us about this prophecy more than a decade ago. Please read what is happening in the Philippines now. Spratly Islands which is being claimed wholly or partly by six countries including China is in the news and considered a tinderbox, a flash point. It is very rich in oil and gas resources, more than the reserve of Kuwait. The high price of oil may trigger the grabbing of these islands and start the war.
Four independent prophecies point to the certainty that this will happen. These are Nostradamus’ prophecies to happen around this time (quatrains 6:24 and 2:62) , the 56th Chinese prophecy of Tuey Bei Tu (the past 55 prophecies have already been fulfilled), Revelation 9:18 of the Holy Bible, and those that the Holy Spirit revealed to us. If you are interested in the details about these prophecies, please send me your request via email.

2Yes, true the earth is getting hotter but not at a rate where we will all drown in 3 years. And there are many scientist working on the energy and population crisis. Maybe by 2012 we will have population control, not like killing off people but like only 2 kids to a family. And if I am correct, I heard that Obama wants to make a law controling CO2 emissions, so if other world leaders do the same, we can make the earth a better place. And maybe there are scientist working on ways to convert CO2 into energy making, I mean that would kill 2 birds with 1 stone!

5I am absolutely 100% certain that no end of the world event will take place in 2012. The claims that scientists are predicting doomsday in 2012 are lies. There were no ancient prophecies concerning 2012 until 2003. Only crackpots and charlatans, who didn’t bother to take any science classes, are predicting disaster in 2012.
The whole thing started out with unqualified people (Jose Arguelles and Zecharia Sitchen) misinterpreting the Mayan calendar (it doesn’t end, it merely recycles) and ancient Sumerian writings about the planet Jupiter. Then a woman named Nancy Lieder, who thinks she hears messages from aliens in her head decided to hijack Sitchen's imaginary planet for her alien fantasies. She said this planet would return in 2003. When it failed to show up, she just changed her doomsday to 2012 to agree with Arguelles misinterpretation of the Mayan calendar. It has been all downhill from there. People keep tacking on new fantasies, none of which have a shred of scientific validity.
They make up new scenarios of doom faster than scientists can debunk them, and they actually claim that scientists are saying these things. No scientist is claiming any doomsday scenario for 2012. Also, all the claims of prophecies for 2012 are false. No one predicted it before this bunch of scam artists started it to make money. They just throw in some scientific sounding terms, slam them together into a mishmash of meaningless prattle and figure if they can't dazzle you with brilliance, they will baffle you with bullsh!t. Don't be fooled by that.
Unfortunately, the History Channel, which used to be a reputable information source, gave up their credibility for better ratings and jumped on the 2012 bandwagon. Too many kids believe everything they see on the internet and are unable to discern a reputable scientific website from a crackpot one.
This whole pile of garbage just keeps growing. Don't worry about it. It is just people making money off books, advertising, "survival kits", and whatever else they can dream up to sell.
I found a really good website that covers all the various claims about 2012 and about the charlatans who are promoting it. Go to it and read about the things that have you concerned. They give sources for their information and they aren't selling anything. The other two are NASA scientist David Morrison and Donald Yeomans of JPL also saying that the 2012 tripe is false.
