2Ummmm…I live in Houston. We're still dealing with the effects of Hurricane Ike from a couple weeks ago. Over 200,000 of our residents live here now because they were displaced from Louisiana in 2005 by Hurricane Katrina. Driving through New Orleans, even three years later, still makes me sick because the devastation is so tangible. Sorry if your joke wasn't well received, but people who live along the Gulf don't find hurricane season funny. People who live elsewhere could care less one way or the other.

4You should download a pretty simple screenwriting program from celtx.com. It will help your format since when you're making a movie you can't explain all of the story line. Write in actions that describe how your characters are feeling instead of just writing 'I was scared' say 'her eyes widen and her hands clenched her night gown'.
I highly suggest reading Robert McKee's Story. It's very helpful !

5They come from damp areas. I use to work at a restaurant that had a similar problem they came from the drains and the mop heads. We sprayed both with poison and the smell of pepper mint also deters them.
